9DP

The 9DP family of ionization chambers, manufactured by Ludlum Measurement Inc, are compact, portable instruments developed to measure environmental radiation levels. The radiation monitor consists of a high-pressure (9 atm) ionization chamber for excellent sensitivity and can simultaneously measure dose rate, integrated dose, and peak value, providing appropriate alarms if alarm thresholds are exceeded.
Ludlum ionization chambers are available in several models:

• Model 9DP* provides output in terms of ambient dose equivalent H*(10)
• Model 9DP provides an output in terms of exposure
• Model 9DP-1, pressurized to 2.5 atm, is designed to operate in pulsed fields and properly integrates pulses of 50ns duration (or longer)
