VENUS

VENUS, manufactured by Itech Instruments, is a compact digital multichannel analyzer integrated in a photomultiplier base.

VENUS allows to process high count rates without deteriorating the energy resolution and has wide margins of gain adjustment that allow it to adapt to all types of scintillators, such as NaI, CsI and LaBr.

VENUS is available in two versions:

  • VENUS USB for which data communication and power supply are via USB connection.
  • VENUS/E for which data communication is via Ethernet and, using a PoE (Power over Ethernet) device, power can also be supplied via Ethernet.
