The BREASTSTEP device ensures immobilization, precise repositioning, and high comfort for the treatment of the patient’s thoracic region.
Designed to improve the accuracy of radiation therapy to the thoracic area and upper abdomen without being invasive, the system provides comfortable positioning while maintaining the precision and reproducibility of immobilization, which are prerequisites for optimizing the success of the therapy.

BREASTSTEP consists of a carbon fiber base, adjustable supports for arms and wrists, a stopper to prevent the patient from sliding downward, and a system for securing it to treatment couches.
